This Moyers' speech really got to me. Over the past few days, I've been doing A LOT of thinking about the direction I'd like to head with my studies this Fall. More and more, I'd been leaning towards the idea of studying the divergence between the mythology and ideology of American history vs. the reality, and how it impacts our nation and its political process today. Then, yesterday PBS re-aired for the first time in 14 years the Bill Moyers series with Joseph Campbell, "The Power of Myth". Then, today my Tivo does me a second favor and picks up this speech, also from Moyers. So much of what he discusses fits right into what I've been thinking about, I can't help but think this is a sign....

Also worth thinking about - how on Earth does anyone watch TV without a Tivo? --------
