A German Apology

Here's a story that I guarantee won't get sufficient play here in the US. German Chancellor, Gerhard Schröder, formally apologized yesterday for the "shameful" atrocities committed against Poles by Nazi Germany. No, this isn't the first time this has happened (Willy Brandt did it in 1970), but it's still significant. Step by step, the world moves forward.
