All last week I was working on a paper about freedom, using the Federalists, and in particular, Madison's conception of it as the backbone of my work. Even more specifically, I was using Madison's conception of faction (think interest groups, parties, associations, etc.) as the basis of my thesis. Anyhow, today I head over to see what Publius has been up to this past week, and what do I find? A post about how it's faction that will save us from the nutters.
