I was going to post about the accidental honesty of David Brooks today, but Kevin Drum beat me too it.
Honestly, I can't believe a conservative has admitted the entire privatization plan is really just a complex way of betting one of the federal govt's biggest social welfare programs on the stock market. Even if it was an accidental admission.
How is it that the party that used to be fiscally responsible has so totally and completely lost its way? What happened?
Back to that paper....
