DEAN AND THE DNC

Fowler is out. That just might mean, yes... Dean is in.

After decades of wandering aimlessly, maybe, just maybe.... the Democratic Party is going back to its roots. The guy gets grassroots. More than that, he gets netroots. In 2004 we saw what I believe is the beginnings of a fundamental shift in the way Americans participate in their political system. And more than anyone, it was Dean who understood this and enabled it to happen. To be honest, I don't know enough about the inner workings of the DNC to know if he is the best candidate or not. What I do know, however, is that whomever is going to serve in that position absolutely must have a clear understanding of the way things are changing. And in that regard, I have a hard time imagining a better candidate than Dean.

A united front in Congress? A leader that understands the power of the people? All less than 3 months after a crushing defeat in an election? Whoda thunkit?
