| "It goes beyond shameless politics," said Tony Fabrizio, a Republican pollster. "It becomes a more crystallized proof point that we are no longer the party of smaller government. We have become a party of 'It doesn't matter what size government is as long as it is imposing our set of values.' "

Never mind what Rove has said. 2000 was not a realignment. Neither was 2004. It wasn't time. Not yet. The cycle was not yet complete. 2008? Perhaps. Or perhaps 2012. But the realignment is coming. And the signs, well... let's just say they don't favor the majority. They never do.
Keep it coming guys. Keep it coming. The party of "smaller government" has sold its soul for power.
