500,000 veterans who will become homeless at some point this year. I don't care what the excuse is. In a time of peace, a system that allows that to happen would be unacceptable. In a time of war, a system that allows that to happen is immoral. And those in power who allow it to exist should and must be held responsible.

Republicans support the troops? Please. They control both elected branches of government, and yet... this. We can do better. And yet they choose not to act.
