Interesting post about intelligent design vs evolution from Deepak Chopra over at The HuffingtonPost. And I think I'll withhold substantial comment until he adds part two tomorrow afternoon. Until then, one thought: as usual, the media, together with partisan activists, have vastly oversimplified the issues and questions involved here. No, of course I'm not suggesting we teach ID in schools. That's just idiotic. But at least some of the issues he raises here are legit and they should be considered carefully. Of course, there's no way that will happen in a political context, but.... --------
