Over the past few weeks I've noticed more and more of stories following the "Dems have no new ideas" meme. In fact I've seen it appear so often I've begun to suspect its probably no longer true. Weird how that works, but if often seems to be the case. And this story just confirms that.

Remember people - its still early. The Dems have until the beginning of next year to get their message sorted. And no matter what the MSM might say, there are tons of people out there working damn hard on this. Don't believe everything you read. Good plans take time, and regardless, right now is NOT the time for them. The GOP is in the middle of a civil war over His Little Crony, and indictments or rumors of indictments are flying fast and furious. Given that the Dems can't actually enact their plans until 2007 at the very, very earliest, what possible sense would it make to start outlining them now? Right - it would make no sense.

So hang tight. Let the pundits spin the stupid "no new ideas" meme. That'll just make it that much more spectacular when 2006 rolls around and we bring the house.
