Watching Ralph Reed, one of the founders of the modern Christian conservative movement, fall from grace is for me a particularly pleasing part of the growing Abramoff scandal. It's not just that he was corrupt, or even that he lied to cover up his corruption, although that certainly would have been enough for me. But Reed, a lifelong opponent of gambling, was apparently getting paid millions to lobby for a company seeking to expand their share of the online lottery business. Reed has claimed for months not to have known on whose behalf he was working, but thanks to Abramoff's notes and emails, that lie has now been exposed. It's often those who scream the loudest about morals that have the most to hide, and here Reed is no exception.

Yet another example of your modern Republican party in action!
