For those not already aware, Fitz has more than Libby and Cheney on his plate. He's also the lead US Attorney responsible for prosecuting former Illinois former Governor George Ryan (a Republican). Or rather, he was. Today the verdict came in, and yes... Fitzgerald nailed him to the wall. Guilty on all 18 counts of racketeering, mail fraud, false statements and tax fraud. Ryan's lobbyist friend Lawrence Warner was also convicted on all counts.
