So Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's letter to our fearless leader has arrived, and the international reaction so far has been mixed.

And yes, there's been plenty of reaction from bloggers too. Two bits that caught my eye

First, Andrew Sullivan plays pop quiz with a quote from the letter itself. I'm sure he (and now I) will get plenty of nasty emails for pointing this out, but yes... the letter matches perfectly the rhetoric we hear every day from the theo-cons and the Christianists.

Second, Liberal Catnip makes a great catch here. Apparently Condi Rice and our Dept of State replied to the letter before they had completed their own translation. Brilliant.
