Don't talk with your mouth full....

This is the first analysis I've seen of the embarrassment that is our president that gets to why this story matters. To news junkies its just another example of just how unfit this man is to be president. (Remember the whole "restoring honor and integrity to the White House" thing?) But to the average American the imagery does indeed offer an interpretation of its own, one that you'll never here the major media outlets offer on their own.

I think at this point we can all agree - this is most certainly NOT the best we can do.

UPDATE II: Now THIS is really interesting. Looks like Bush's accidental open mic performance may have been payback by the China for the embarrassment that was their recent DC trip. Hu Jintao set it up, and Bush took it home. Just speculation, but seems solid to me. Good luck getting confirmation of that on, though....
