While politicians here in the US endlessly argue over the fate of US troops in Iraq, Iraqis are taking matters into their own hands. Via Chris Bowers, it looks like nearly 1 million Iraqis have already withdrawn - from their own country. We stay while they leave - that's what our current policy amounts to. Brilliant.
