If Lieberman loses tomorrow, it looks like Rahm Emmanuel and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee may, just may, nationalize the fall campaign. I've long suspected that this would happen one way or the other, but if a Lieberman loss acts as the catalyst, it could entirely change the fall dynamic.

It's one thing to build a campaign narrative, and another thing entirely to get the media to pick it up as their own. Should Lieberman lose tomorrow, and in particular, should he lose big, it will provide a perfect hook, allowing journalists everywhere to pick up the theme and run.
