I get that corruption is as old as Congress itself. What I don't get is why so many of today's corrupt officals are also so incredibly stupid. Did Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-OH) really think that she wouldn't get caught? Really?
If any of my students did this I would get them thrown out of the university. The question is, will Schmidt's constituents throw her out of Congress? Apparently, they just might.
