First it was Drudge, now its Limbaugh.

Aside from being morally reprehensible... I cannot for the life of me understand why these idiots think this is a good political defense. The reason most Americans are so upset by this scandal is that from the beginning Republican leaders have appeared more concerned about their political prospects than about protecting the kids in their care. Blaming the kids for what happened doesn't solve this problem; in fact, if anything it only makes it worse.

This goes back to what I said when this story first broke. Most Americans are going to react to this story as parents, a not as partisans. So long as the Republican Party doesn't realize this, they're going to continue digging themselves deeper into an already cavernous hole. Of course I don't mind if they dig their way to China, but...
