Greg Sargent is reporting that the Allen campaign is considering avoiding a recount and admitting defeat.
With Lieberman now out of the running for SecDef, a Webb win would give the Democratic Party 51 votes. Lieberman is as likely to vote against us than with us, but a majority is far, FAR more important than votes on the floor. Controlling both houses of Congress means controlling one of the three institutions of government.
If I weren't so exhausted I would think I was dreaming.
