Ted Haggard is the president of the National Association of Evangelicals. Last night, a local Colorado TV station broke the news that Haggard has had a 3-year affair with a male "escort." Haggard initially denied the story, but earlier today he resigned his post and stepped aside as pastor of his 14,000 person New Life Church.
And Josh is right... I thought sex + politics was the lifeblood of Drudge - and yet, no mention.... Shocking!
