When the Valerie Plame story first broke, one of the most common defenses offered by defenders of the administration was that she wasn't a "real" or "important" agent. It's something many of them say to this day.
Here's today's refutation: Plame wants to write a book about her time at the CIA. Citing national security, the CIA won't even clear her to mention that she worked there.
Can't have it both ways people...
