The NYT has a fairly extensive story tonight on the "explosive question" of whether or not Pakistan is aiding the Taliban in Afghanistan.
Newsflash: The Pakistani military, together with our own CIA, helped create the Taliban back in the mid-1980's in an effort to undermine the Soviets. The Taliban wouldn't exist without the Pakistanis. So yes, of course they are aiding the Taliban. Only someone with no knowledge of the history of Central Asia would think otherwise.
