Libby's defense is toast. And I do mean toast.

First Vice President Cheney's former public affairs director shreds Libby's supposed timeline. Then, the CIA official who used to provide daily national security briefings to both Libby and the VP did the same.

Libby's defense? The man who briefed the VP on national security for over a year cannot be trusted to tell the truth in a court of law. And the woman who is now Deputy Communications Secretary for the Bush White House was unqualified for her previous lower-level job. Priceless.

As for the whole "Joe Wilson and his wife weren't something we were worried about" defense, well, this bit of info shreds that. It also clearly demonstrates that VP Cheney has lied to the nation about his involvement in the case. He has claimed he didn't even know who Joe Wilson was. Turns out his own staff thinks he was obsessed with the man.
