More on Biden's idiotic comments... Obama has responded, and his response is quite telling:

I didn't take Senator Biden's comments personally, but obviously they are historically inaccurate. After all, we've had presidential candidates like Jesse jackson, Shirley Chisholm, Carol Mosely Braun and Al Sharpton. They gave a voice to many important issues through their campaigns and no one would call them inarticulate.

Given my obsession with people knowing their history, I have to admit I love this response. In addition to educating Biden - and more importantly, the nation - about recent American history, he also lay down one hell of a smack-down on Biden. Let me translate...
