Super Bowl Ads: This Is The Best They've Got?

Wretched, horrible, and stupid are three words that come to mind.

A robot commits suicide.

Two guys make out over a Snickers bar, then rip out their chest hair as some sort of penance.

Rock, paper, scissors ends with a real rock thrown at a real head.

Bank tellers rob their own bank.

Sheryl Crow tries to convince us that she colors her hair using something she bought at CVS.

GoDaddy's marketing department is apparently now hiring ugly models.

And please tell me that the InfoUSA ad I saw wasn't a national ad buy. Please.

The only funny ads came from CareerBuilder, a site that my G rightly pointed out is a one-way ticket to spam.

What is wrong with these people? Can't we even be funny anymore?

And one last point...

Janet Jackson's impossible-to-see nipple slip caused national outrage, but a pharmaceutical ad mentioning a "decrease in semen" as a potential side effect gets nary a mention.

What about the children, people? What about the children?
