All they had to do was defeat a team that was 4-11 in ACC play and the ACC regular season title was theirs.
And sure thing, no game in the ACC is easy, particularly when you are playing on the road, but still...
Losing by 6 and giving up your first ACC title since 1981? No excuse, Virginia. No excuse.
I know, I know. We can still take the title if UNC, VA Tech, and Boston College all lose tomorrow. And even if they all win, we still take home a share of the title. But a win today would have guaranteed we won it outright.
Bah.
