I'm really not sure what to say about this, expect that it is clearly very terrifying.
In the early 1900s, many of these problems were solved in the United States thanks to muckraking journalists and the progressive movement. Here in the early 2000's, thanks to globalization, it looks like we are facing the same problem all over again. Looks like its time for a multi-national progressive movement, no?
