Larry Flynt says he has dirt on over 30 Republicans in congress. And his only question is, should he release them all at once or let them drip out slowly? Oh my.
For the record, I'm generally in favor of letting people do whatever they want in their private lives. That's why, for example, I think it is none of the government's business who marries who. But as we all know, there are plenty of people in DC who don't think they way. They believe that the government should regulate private "moral" conduct, and come election time they spare no expense at letting the rest of us know. If any of those people happen to be among Flynt's 30, then I'm all in favor of exposing them.
Their political agenda is, after all, explicitly based on the idea that private conduct isn't private.
