Not to pick on Time Magainze... but... to pick on Time Magazine, this article about yesterday's pipe burst in NYC is ridiculous.
Yes, our infrastructure is crumbling. Yes, it is a problem that we have been and will likely continue to ignore. Yes, it really is a big deal. Even a very big deal.
But no, what happened yesterday in New York isn't even remotely comparable to what happened in New Orleans after Katrina. Nor is it appropriate to compare yesterday's events to 9/11.
Time used to be an excellent publication. What happened?
