Atrios has been dutifully compiling and reporting on promises of a "turning point" or "one last try" from supporters of the war for what feels like forever, but unless you read his blog on a daily basis, you're not likely to realize just how bad this whole process has been.
Thankfully, the Center for American Progress has compiled an interactive timeline showing just how ridiculous this whole thing has become.
The lack of interest by people in holding pundits and politicians accountable for the promises they have made on the war really is astonishing.
