+ Russert thinks he understands Social Security, but he has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. Projecting the economy out to 2043 is insane, and no matter how much he wants to belittle Richardson, he was right: the growth rates that project insolvency at 2043 are unrealistic. Assuming you can project that far out, they are too low. But assuming that you can project that far out is nonsense. And Russert's bizarre claim about FDR? FDR didn't set the retirement age at 65 because he thought people would die after a few months. That's nonsensical.
+ I'd love to know where Edwards' firefighter couples live. $115,000 a year? I honestly hope that is true, but I seriously doubt it. All of the first responders I know are so woefully underpaid it makes me sick.
+ Biden's answer to the question about lowering the drinking age back to 18 was precisely what I would expect from someone who passed the RAVE ACT. It was a nonsensical "I know what's best for you" argument. If you are old enough to kill and die for your country, you are old enough to drink. Period.
+ And I like Kucinich's position about lowering the age, but what's this nonsense about a president teaching young Americans about drinking responsibly? Did I miss that part of Article II in the Constitution?
+ I don't want to give Hillary any advice, but...the answer to the dynasty question is this: There is no dynasty. After I win in 2008, there are no other Clinton's in politics to run. And a Bush dynasty? Please. After these past 8 years, this country will never elect another Bush president again!

+ Obama nailed the Iraq pull-out question in Russert's stupid "lightning round." And the nuclear power one. I think the stupid "lightning round" format plays to Obama's strengths.
