Picking up the second Virginia Senate seat in as many years just became a very real possibility. Former Gov. Mark Warner has just officially entered the race to replace retiring Sen. John Warner. Early polling shows his with a 20 point lead, a fact which won't surprise those of you from Virginia. Warner was an immensely popular leader in the state, a fact that led many to conclude he would make a run at the White House. When he didn't he left many Dems disappointed, but I suspect after today their minds will change.
Webb and Warner would make quite the team...
