What better way to celebrate the re-emergence of the NYT columnists into the free world than to pick on Thomas Friedman?
The man has one idea: the world is changing. And he has one response to this idea: this is exciting! Why precisely that warrants a column in the Times is beyond me.
And what's with his presumption that most of the readers of his column have never heard of Doha? Friedman himself has mentioned the place no less than 8 times in past columns, and the paper has run well over 70 columns in which Doha appeared in the last year alone.
Hey Tom... tell us what you really think about your column!
