Rudy, in the Boston area today:
"I'm rooting for the Red Sox."
Rudy, for those who don't know, is quite famously a lifelong Yankees fan. A lifelong Yankees fan rooting for the Red Sox is like a lifelong Redskins fan rooting for the Cowboys, an Eagles fan rooting for the Giants, or for those not inclined towards sports, a Baptist minister pledging spiritual allegiance to the Pope.
You'd think he could be honest just once...
