This is a perfect example of everything that is wrong with my school. According to this article, BU hosted a "New Media and the Marketplace of Ideas" Conference last Friday. The keynote speaker was Kos. The event was held less than one block from my office. And until today, I hadn't heard a single thing about it. No flyers in the Political Science Dept. No signs around campus. No mention from any of my students. Nothing.
No university is perfect. But this is ridiculous. And sad. And frustrating beyond words.
