They're gone forever, apparently.
I don't care what your partisan affiliation is - the idea that the president - any president - could ignore the law and destroy over two years worth of email should bother you. Accountability is one of the cornerstones of democracy, and without information, accountability is impossible. And besides, those emails belong to us, not them. It is our government, and they work for us.
