Over at National Review, KLo has this to say about McCain:
I don’t see how [John McCain] wins the Republican nomination. I’m second to none in praising him on his surge leadership. But on a whole host of issues — including water boarding, tax cuts, and the freedom of speech — he’s not one of us
"One of us," to establishment conservatives, now apparently includes the explicit support of methods of torture used by Pol Pot and the Spanish Inquisition. McCain, a man who has first hand experience with torture, isn't "one of them." All of this from a publication that has a blog dedicated to equating liberalism with fascism.
It really is amazing just how far the conservative movement has fallen.
