Before it gets too much later in the day (I'm not slacking - I just woke up!), let me join the chorus of bloggers pointing out that, no matter what the pundits might be telling you, McCain did not win among conservative voters in Florida last night. As Kevin Drum points out, among conservatives he lost to Romney by 2 points. Moreover, neither of them captured a majority of conservative voters, with McCain claiming only 31% of the group.
Short Version? McCain still has huge problems with the Republican base. This race isn't over yet, not by a long shot.
UPDATE: Like Steve Benen, I've long thought Rudy's collapse was really only a matter of time. The only surprise for me, actually, was that it took this long to happen. Beyond that, however, I've got nothing special to add about his campaign, so go read Steve if you want more.
