More Clinton Campaign Incompetence

These people are starting to remind me of the Bush adminsitration:

Marc Ambinder reports:

Even with a Gov. Ed Rendell-ordered extension, it appears as if Hillary Clinton's Pennsylvania campaign still fell about 10 people short of filing a full delegate slate with the state party.

If every delegate matters, though, then every delegate matters, and Obama has a full slate of supporters waiting to go to the convention for him. Clinton does not.

This is more evidence that the Clinton campaign simply did not envision a delegate hunt until it was much too late.

Now to be clear, she isn't going to win 100% of the delegate in the state, so it's not likely that this will have any practical effect. But it does demonstrate yet again just how much of a mess their campaign is. They were so supremely confident that they would win by Super Tuesday that they literally had no plan for a longer campaign. It was all supposed to be chocolates and flowers, I guess. Idiots.

UPDATE: Be sure to check this story out as well. The campaign has since disavowed the quote, and I'll leave it to you to decide which version to believe. For the purposes of this discussion, however, it really doesn't matter. If the original quote didn't represent the views of the campaign, then it means someone went disastrously off message. If the original quote was representative of something the campaign is thinking about doing but that wasn't supposed to be shared with the public, that's even worse.
