For literally years now, many of us opposed to the prison at Guantanamo Bay have argued that the facility does serious and lasting damage to our standing in the world. From time to time, even the current SecDef has agreed.
Apparently now even the people who run Gitmo are worried about it. But you'll never, ever guess the argument they are making. It's not that Gitmo is the problem. The problem is that Harold and Kumar are making fun of Gitmo, and that is making us look bad.
