At first I didn't want to believe this was for real, but given that its posted on Hillary's official YouTube page, it must be.
Who is the intended audience for this? Pre-teen swing voters? College kids? I don't get it. Either way, it is awful. It's like something you'd get if you asked a group of middle aged women to produce a "hip" ad that the kids will send around on the Internets. Or something. More evidence of her campaign-by-committee approach to elections, I guess.
But maybe I'm wrong here. And no doubt if I am, the BU kids will let me know. So... thoughts?
UPDATE: So far, reaction from around the Internets is mostly positive. Take, for example, this from The Plank:
I know Obama's the hipper candidate, but dare I say that Hillary has the better hipster campaign video.
Maybe I've lost all sense of what it means to be a hipster, but I just don't think this is going to work with them.
