An important reminder from Ezra:
I think it's worth remembering that Democrats always win Democratic primaries in red states, and neither Obama nor Clinton have done anything to suggest they can compete in red states in the general election.
It isn't that you win a state's primary that matters; it's how. Did you bring out new people to the polls? If so, who were they, and where did they live? If you want to understand the implications for the general election, you need to look deeper.
