Blogging From Big Sky, Day One

There's only one word that can describe skiing in Big Sky, Montana: Epic. I know that the reviews and websites all say that you can ski with no lift lines and no, well, people around, but until you actually experience what that means for yourself, you won't really understand it. It is A-Ma-zing. Too busy trashing my legs today to take any photos, but I'll try to do better tomorrow. Promise.

In the meantime, I've got some time to kill before dinner, so why not blog? Here are some things I've noticed over the past few days:

+ Obama won Wyoming big. Add Mississippi on Tuesday, plus the extra 8 delegates he picked up in California thanks to a final, more accurate vote count, and it looks like his delegate lead will be back up over what it was prior to the big VT-RI-TX-OH primary day. More to the point, if you don't understand why Wyoming matters, you just aren't thinking long-term enough.

+ This means that Jonathan Chait is right: the only way she can take the nomination away from Obama is to shred all of the previously agreed to rules, and in the process, shred the party.

+ As the Chicago Tribune has pointed out, its not just that Hillary's claims about foreign policy experience are hollow, its that they are filled with lies, too. Big lies.

+ Watch as Bill Maher shreds Terry McAuliffe's pro-Clinton arguments.

+ The Dems had a huge pickup in the House the weekend. Former Speaker Denny Hastert stepped down, and despite the fact that this should have been a safe seat for the GOP, the Dems won.

+ I wonder... will Hillary reject and denounce her husband's support of Louis Farrakhan?

OK...Back to the mountain!
