"Things are being done"

From an interview with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid:

Question: Do you still think the Democratic race can be resolved before the convention?

Reid: Easy.

Q: How is that?

Reid: It will be done.

Q: It just will?

Reid: Yep.

Q: Magically?

Reid: No, it will be done. I had a conversation with Governor Dean (Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean) today. Things are being done.

The party will only self-destruct if it collectively decides it wants to self-destruct. Given that it is made up almost entirely of people who depend on it for the continued existence of their political careers, it is highly unlikely that it will make such a choice. Sooner rather than later the Supers will move to Obama. It won't likely happen before PA, but once the contests after that start splitting down the middle, this whole thing will be over.
