OK, I'm done with this.
Yes, the Republicans are good at campaigning. But does it really do the Democratic Party any good for its own members to keep repeating that ad nauseum? And worse, to use the purported powers of the GOP slime machine to slime one another? This is nonsensical. We are doing their work for them. It is as if we have become so afraid of their powers - powers that I for one do not actually believe they possess - that we have decided to do their work for them.
Maybe McCain and his surrogates will come up with good attacks. Maybe they won't. But how about we wait and see what they actually do, rather than try to guess what they might do and then beat them to it?
Am I the only one out there who thinks this is ridiculous?
