Sen. McCain spent the first 30 minutes pandering to "Joe the Plumber," and it turns out that the man isn't even registered to vote.
UPDATE: Numerous readers have told me that they heard through a variety of sources that Joe claims to be registered, but that he's only voted once since 1992. Given that the original story came from a search of voter registration rolls, I can't help but wonder if Joe's inactivity got him dropped from the rolls without his realizing.
